Retirement Announcement: Deputy Chief Gerard Dussault

The retirement of Deputy Chief Gerard Dussault comes after a 33 year career that began with the Londonderry Police Department on November 12, 1985.

During his 33 year career, Dussault held a variety of positions throughout the agency. He has held the following ranks: Officer, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, and the first person to hold the rank of Deputy Chief. During his time as Captain, Dussault was tasked with commanding the first ever Airport Division when the Londonderry Police took over the Law Enforcement duties at the Manchester- Boston Regional Airport in 2006. He played a vital role in ensuring a successful transition from the Rockingham County Sheriffs to the Londonderry Police Department at the airport. Dussault also was also a long standing member of the Southern New Hampshire Special Operations Unit (SNHSOU) where he held several roles. Throughout his many roles at the agency, Dussault has always been involved in the training and education of the members of the Londonderry Police Department.
